The Blinds To Go story begins in 1951 with a young entrepreneur, David Shiller, who left his job at a local housewares store to set out on his own. He would load up his familys station wagon and drive hundreds of miles to sell home goods door to door. It was during these long trips that David learned to go the extra mile (literally!) to make a customer happy. The foundation of his business was built on providing customers with exceptional service. David opened his first showroom in Montreal in 1954.

Treating the customer right is in our DNA and at the heart of our success. Over the course of the last 70 years, the Shiller family built a trusted company on this reputation and we now proudly serve as North Americas leading manufacturer-retailer with over 100 showrooms in the United States and Canada.

Blinds To Go® sells window coverings that we manufacture ourselves in of our three state-of-the-art factories, in Montreal, in New Jersey and in Saltillo, Mexico. Our window coverings are proudly crafted with detailed workmanship and include made-to-measure Blinds, Shades, drapes in every imaginable color, as well as our exclusive Shutters.
